I am a professional banker with over sixteen years of experience. I have hundreds of clients in various industries, including physical and sector manufacturing, logistics, and automobile. When I started my career, I would say that I had more faith in the knowledge of significant imports because of the type of clients that I handled. But I want to say that the defining moment in my career was when I underwent 3T Impex trade academic training. So fast forward in 2020 when the COVID came again that thought came to me and this time I said no, I was sick by the home, I'm not going to wait for my company to train me, So I reached out to 3T impex. So I ran through their different courses, and I knew I had to go for the Export Business Management course. I can tell you that it has been a game-changer for me in my career. I see the trade processes side from the bank's perspective, but I didn't understand the export environment, and I have clients who do export. So, this course has helped me to gain a good understanding of the export environment and an idea of what to look for. And at that point, when I finish this program, it's an openly massive opportunity for me in my workplace. I can tell you that I made a significant impact, provided solutions for exports, and allowed my company to grow in nonoil exports in Nigeria. We are still learning, and I believe there are more courses for me. And I can recommend this program to anyone and everyone.

I did the Executive Diploma in Export Business Management at 3T Impex Academy in 2021. It was an excellent course because it exposed me to international trade. The course introduced me to the international perspectives of trade and the global market space. I'm currently the head of Trade Services Guaranty Trust Bank. I have worked with 3T Impex Consulting as a student since 2016. My first learning experience with 3T Impex was the CDCS certification. I passed a good one, having a tutorial in Nigeria for an international exam. I think 3T Impex can boast of enormous success in preparing people for CDCS. I just finished certified global Trade professionals Training. I work in one of the commercial banks in Nigeria. Frankly, I had struggled with trade transactions, but there was no running away from it. The focus right now on a bank is exports. Two weeks to the end of the program, I got a call from an exporter in a bubble shop. Who wants to do cassava chips export to Europe? If I hadn't taken this program, it would be very difficult for me to onboard that customer and have a decent conversation with him about the transaction. I intend to take additional courses in trade along with the African Continental Future Trade Area.It's an area where I've decided thatI would like to specialize it.

Going through CATP was a game changer for me in my career. While I was in Nigeria, as a trade professional, you required a certificate to advance. In the UK, all the companies I applied to always ask for this certification, which is an equivalent of CDCS, because it covers all the ICC rules URC522, UCP600, eURP, URDG, and many more. The program focused on all the trade rules, which are very important.

Thank you, Dr. Bamidele, for the 3 months of training I have undergone under your tutelage. I must confess that it is one of the best courses I have attended. It is an eye-opener. I have attended other programs because of my roles. Still, this program cannot be compared because it is a well-packaged program helping to bridge the gap between abundant resources and opportunities. The program is a personal development for me. I cannot converse with exporters without adding value to their business. From the banking perspective, banking has gone beyond transactional relationships; banking has moved to solution provision. Caleb Afuwape is currently the Trade Logistic Manager and an International Trade Consultant at 3Timpex Consulting Limited, the foremost international trade training and consulting company in Nigeria.
