Bamidele Ayemibo, the “Export King” he is fondly called, is an internationally recognized business consultant and marketing expert. He is the Lead consultant at 3T Impex Trade Consulting Limited. He is also a Trade Consultant with numerous trade certifications. He is the first Certified Specialist in Demand Guarantee in Nigeria and among the first ten in Africa. He holds a Master’s in International Business with Law from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom, and a Ph.D. in International Business Marketing from the LIGS University, Hawaii, United States of America. He conceived, designed, and facilitated the training of the First Export Diploma Programme and Six Trade Professional Development Programmes in Africa in conjunction with the American Institute of Extended Studies.

I am a professional banker with over sixteen years of experience. I have hundreds of clients in various industries, including physical and sector manufacturing, logistics, and automobile. When I started my career, I would say that I had more faith in the knowledge of significant imports because of the type of clients that I handled. I just finished certified global Trade professionals Training. I work in one of the commercial banks in Nigeria. Frankly, I had struggled with trade transactions, but there was no running away from it. The focus right now on a bank is exports. Two weeks to the end of the program, I got a call from an exporter in a bubble shop. Who wants to do cassava chips export to Europe? If I hadn't taken this program, it would be very difficult for me to onboard that customer and have a decent conversation with him about the transaction. I intend to take additional courses in trade along with the African Continental Future Trade Area.It's an area where I've decided thatI would like to specialize it.

Going through CATP was a game changer for me in my career. While I was in Nigeria, as a trade professional, you required a certificate to advance. In the UK, all the companies I applied to always ask for this certification, which is an equivalent of CDCS, because it covers all the ICC rules URC522, UCP600, eURP, URDG, and many more. The program focused on all the trade rules, which are very important.

Thank you, Dr. Bamidele, for the 3 months of training I have undergone under your tutelage. I must confess that it is one of the best courses I have attended. It is an eye-opener. I have attended other programs because of my roles. Still, this program cannot be compared because it is a well-packaged program helping to bridge the gap between abundant resources and opportunities. The program is a personal development for me. I cannot converse with exporters without adding value to their business. From the banking perspective, banking has gone beyond transactional relationships; banking has moved to solution provision. Transactional banking has been taken over by automation, what is critical is who we solve customer challenges has it relates to export.
